I hope that everybody in the States enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving with loved ones yesterday. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get together with a group of friends and share a meal at The Breakfast Club. They offered a "traditional" Thanksgiving meal (but let's be honest, it wasn't quite American, haha). We chatted and ate over a pitcher of sangria and apple mojitos (very traditional, huh?).
While mulling over things to be thankful for during dinner, it became clear that in world filled with so many uncertainties and conflicts I am truly blessed to have so many fantastic people walk into my life. To my family, friends, and boyfriend: I thank you all for showing me unwavering compassion, acceptance, and honesty. With your love and support I have achieved more than I could have ever imagined possible. Whether with my education or fun matters like my blog, you have all always been there a hundred percent of the time.
That being said, I am so excited for Christmas season to begin. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year! I've already got my festive sweater situation under control, so bring on the hot cider, presents, and holiday music!
