A few weekends ago, I took a train to Salisbury for some sightseeing. The first stop was Stonehenge, and although smaller than I anticipated, it was amazing! It's always so odd to see landmarks in person after only reading about them in books and looking at pictures. The weather was terrible all day, so we retreated indoors for a lunch break before heading over to the cathedral. It was gorgeous and we popped in to look at the Magna Carta. All in all, it was a fantastic day trip, and I had a lot of fun checking out the sights. Salisbury was really quaint!
