Although it was an incredibly hot and humid day, my friend and I popped on over to Central Park to ride some bikes. I have so much respect for people who ride bikes in the city, because it was probably one of the most terrifying things I have ever done. The streets seemed to be lawless as cars, pedestrians, and other bikers zoomed passed me. Although it was two blocks from the bike shop to the park, it felt like miles away. With a lot of fingers crossed and careful maneuvering, we made it to the park just fine. I had so much fun riding around, and checking out the park's ponds and other sites. We ended our day with a feast of Peruvian food and Italian ice. Not so bad for a hot summer day!
