In an attempt to escape the bone chilling cold New York faced this week, my friend and I scuttled inside The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Despite having price plaques, the museum is technically on a donation only basis. Queue up, pay, and you'll be handed a sticker to slap on your shirt. It's always nice to wander the halls of The Met, and you'll always discover something new no matter how many times you go. I personally love the Egyptian wing, but there is always so much to see! Afterwards, we walked through Central Park and meandered through the zoo before finally settling down for dinner. It was nice to see that despite the cold, a few American Robins had come out to play.
