Chelsea Market & High Line

Photographs by myself and Katherine Misogas

Anybody who spends ten minutes with me knows that one of my favorite places in the city is Chelsea Market and the High Line. I used to live a few blocks from here, and my perfect day would involve grabbing a sandwich and soda from Lobster Place before settling down on the High Line to eat and watch the view. There is definitely no shortage of things to eat inside, and your taste buds will never be bored. So, as the weather warms up, grab a friend (or a date) and head on down to soak up some rays.

  1. I don't think I've ever been to either of these two places, but I'd really love to visit them! I might be moving to NYC in the fall (fingers crossed) so I'll have plenty of time to stop by these places :D

  16. Amazing photos!! This is by far my two top choices of where to go in NYC and is basically the reason I fell in love with the city. The sights and smells just can't be beat...and the Lobster place does have the best sandwiches!

  32. I would love to walk through Highline again...soon! I'll be in NYC in June so can't wait to soak up Manhattan's urban jungle. One Lucky Duck will always have a soft spot in my heart as it's the first juice bar I visited on my first trip to the Big Apple. Was into the raw diet at the time and NYC had quite a few raw places to eat at and buy products.

  47. Honestly, I've not been to the High Line or Chelsea Markets since autumn...and some how all my gallery hopping has been in Soho and Greenwich, strangely enough. But!! Two weeks ago, there was an awesome lecture at my school by the designers who helped to brand the High Line...and all of these photos reminded me of that haha. Hope all is well! xx
