The Cloisters

4.11.2014

Another gem that many should make the time to see while in Manhattan is The Cloisters. Set on the top of a hill overlooking the city, The Cloisters is a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art featuring medieval works of art. I love this museum because it's the perfect size to keep visitors busy, but not overwhelm. Not only is the architecture gorgeous as well, but it holds an incredibly wide range of medieval art. When the weather is warm, there's a gorgeous garden to check out, as well as an outdoor cafe. Although it's quite a trip to make it all the way up, it'll be worth your while.
