This week's adventure took me to Flushing to check out the Queens Botanical Garden. Although small in size, it's still quite a sight to see and rather fun. The visitor's center features a really interesting "green" roof you can walk up and see different plants. The garden itself is divided into different sections with themes, but my personal favorite was the meadow. It featured an incredible expanse of grass littered with trees and flowers. I had such a fun time doing somersaults in the grass and making daisy chains. It was as if I was transported right back to my childhood - and that's something you can't get just anywhere.
