If you're looking for a place that takes their coffee seriously, look no further than The Barn. I don't think that I've ever found a coffee shop shrouded in so much controversy. The Barn is so dedicated to the "puristic" elements of coffee, that the owner has banned serving the coffee in any other way except black. There is no music in the shop, or wi-fi, and laptop use is limited to only one corner of the shop. The most controversial ban placed in the shop is refusing to allow strollers. Regardless of these strict policies, I found that I enjoyed the coffee itself. Would you visit a shop so strict though?
