Having decided to spend most of my money on food (notice a trend appearing here?!), a free walking tour definitely sounded like a great way to learn something new while saving a few euros. Runner Bean Tours (check them out here) offer various free options, and the Gaudí tour sounded right up my alley. We started at the Plaça Reial, and hit up Casa Milà, Casa Batilló, Sagrada Familia, and Palau Güell. The pace of the tours is relaxed, and the guides do a great job of giving information that's easy to digest, and interesting at the same time. While the tours are free, please remember to tip your guides! It was definitely a great way to be active, while grabbing some fabulous snaps. Plus, since the tours are only a few hours, it's a great way to check out sights in a guided way without too much commitment.
