Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain

I can never turn down an opportunity to spend time with Kevin, so we decided to turn his graduation into a two week long extravaganza starting in Barcelona. He arrived from Zaragoza (see the series from my last visit here), and I popped over from Germany. We rented a gorgeous apartment across the street from Sagrada Familia, and quickly settled into consuming as much jamón as humanly possible. Thankfully, Kevin had the foresight to nab tickets into the basilica and to make reservations for the towers earlier. I definitely recommend grabbing tickets - not only will you enjoy some of the most stunning views, but you also won't have to wait around in line forever. We took the elevator up, and decided to walk down. As someone who is terrified of heights, I can safely say that while the experience was a bit nerve wrecking, it was so worth it and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
