2015 was a topsy turvy kind of year for me. It seemed like life took the events of three years and decided to shove them all into 12 months. While things have been stressful, I wouldn't trade my year for anything in the world. I welcomed 2015 as a womenswear designer working in Germany, and halfway through the year found myself leaving my job to relocate back to California to found my own line - Kestan. Since then I've been flying back and forth between the States and Asia to put together the line in time for our launch in Spring. In between that, I've continued to fuel my thirst for travel by visiting 22 cities in 13 countries. Looking back, I definitely went a bit overboard with the traveling. I have a feeling that next year will require me to settle down a bit more, so I'm glad I got to see so many sights while I could.

Thank you 2015 for so many memories and life changing events. 2016, here we come!

top eats
1 | La Degustation - Prague, Czech Republic : Delicious tasting menu made with in season ingredients. Definitely go for the juice pairing. You'll definitely experience unexpected flavors in the best way possible!
2 | Ramon Frexia - Madrid, Spain : Exclusive restaurant that seats 25 per night. Courses are completely new and inventive, and the service is some of the best I've ever had. Definitely the best four hours of my time in Madrid!
3 | Lyle's - London, UK : I popped in for lunch and had a great time learning about the menu from my server. They offer an affordable tasting menu for lunch that's totally affordable.
4 | Oaxen Slip - Stockholm, Sweden : If you love seafood, you'll definitely have to check this place out. They bottle their own sodas too, and they're totally worth the try!
5 | Faszalade - Budapest, Hungary : Sausages on sausages on sausages here. Oh, and alcohol. Lots of it!
6 | Speceriet - Stockholm, Sweden : Sharing plates set in a beautiful atmosphere. They also make the best crusty bread. I could've eaten two loaves!
7 | Byron Burger - London, UK : I adored Byron when I was living in London, and I still adored it when I went back this year. Their courgette fries and Oreo milkshake will always be my favorite.
8 | Blai 9 - Barcelona, Spain : Cheap tapas with cute bartenders. Done and done!
